We partnered with the good folk at Kitsbow to help define their DNA and craft beautiful and functional designs. We also developed a color theory that continues to serve as a visual thread between products and seasons.
We used premium materials and trims such as abrasion resistant Schoeller, warm and durable Pendleton wool, high performance Italian Mitti mesh, and the always satisfying Fidlock buckles!

The Radivist: “I first bought the Kitsbow Icon in 2014 and out of all my apparel, both on and off the bike, it’s become a staple. As soon as the temps drop, it becomes my go-to mountain bike or bike touring jacket. I’ve taken spills, experienced thrills and everything in between with it…My point is, the Kitsbow Icon is the best flannel I’ve ever owned and there’s nothing I’d change about it.”
Bikepacking.com: “Trust me, I’m not one to recommend a riding shirt that costs $195 unless it’s good. Really good. Hand on heart, I wore the Pendleton wool Icon every day for 9 weeks solid – often at high altitude – in Ecuador and Peru. I washed in once… and it still looks absolutely brand new. I’m a creature of habit; the Icon has become my go to shirt, whether on tour, riding trails, or in a coffee shop. ”
Gear Patrol: “When it comes to minimal, well-designed, tonal mountain bike clothing, one brand stands out above the rest: Kitsbow. The Petaluma, CA based brand is making some of the best mountain bike clothing on the market. Pieces like the Origin A/M short and the Trials Softshell waterproof jacket epitomize thoughtful design and have become staples in my mountain bike kit.”
